Google follows Microsofts lead - Videogame advertising

Well big G finally realized that the video game market is a viable place to add to the ever growing pile of cash.  So instead of innovating and making a stab at it, they will follow Microsoft’s lead with the buy of Massive, and try themselves to chew up Adscape Media, another in-game advertising firm. http://www.adscapemedia.com/

Death to the 468×60 Banner!

Well, someone needs to say it.  I would like to send a plea out to all webmasters and developers that we join together and kill the 468×60 banner!  Yes, it was the orginal banner, the first size banner, but now, it is just plain annoying.  They have the worst click through rates and have basically become “eye-wash” to the point that no one even sees them anymore.  Come on developers, INTEGRATE the ads!

Too “Pop-up” or Not too “Pop-up” that is the question?

OK, Pop-ups annoy everyone, so my question is, who the hell is clicking on them? Well, I gues it is the same stupid morons who click through on spam and actually buy penis cream.  Anyway some webmasters and bloggers feel the need to use services like http://www.paypopup.com/ and do it generate a small amount of revenue from their sites.  Should you use it for your site?  Well if you’re already a spammer, well then why not?  If you wish to sell your soul to the devil, or are in need of a bigger dick male appendage, then you are already half way there, so go ahead and add pop-ups to your already lame site.
